The Anderson Book Nook

Welcome to The Anderson Book Nook! We are Madison County’s only multi-genre bookstore and a fundraiser for The Madison County Literacy Coalition. The revenue generated from the sale of books goes directly to fund The Literacy Center which offers free tutoring to adults who struggle with reading. The Book Nook is staffed primarily by volunteers, and we obtain our impressive collection of books through trades and donations. The Book Nook strives for a 100% literacy rate!

Established in 2008, The Book Nook has grown to a comprehensive book store with an extensive collection of fiction including: classics, mysteries, and romance. The Book Nook has a fantastic children's section, and also a terrific collection of non-fiction books such as: civil war history, business, science, and more. We have affordable dollar books, quarter books, and free books available every day. It is our desire for all to have access to books, and through your support we are able offer free literacy tutoring! We hope to see you soon. Thank you for supporting literacy in Madison County.
